Recovery Specialist.

The office is now open 5 days a week as normal. We have done a lot to bring our office up to scratch regarding Covid19 regulations and we have had the building checked over by 2 very nice police officers and Blackpool Council Environmental Health officers and we have checked out very well.  We are still taking referrals through the referral page on this website.  What we ask for is people who want long term abstinence as their goal and for them to be following the same keeping safe rules that our current residents are following.  They have been brilliant along with the staff who have been outstanding.
We have been hit hard with the virus because of moving the meetings online to Zoom and that cuts down the eye to eye support that we can give and the outcome of that is that everyone who came in from March has left. We have been hit financially and if anyone wants to give a donations towards the work we do we would be most grateful.

Mulberry Community Project is an independant non-commissioned Supported Housing Project which provides abstinent based recovery housing for those in recovery from alcohol/drug misuse by providing secure housing, support and encouragement.  We believe that not only is recovery possible but with the correct support is also achievable by those who really want it. We are not about Treatment but we are about Recovery.

The Low Dose House is now doing what it says on the tin. It is helping people reduce off their Methadone and stopping their dependance on it.

We currently have 9 abstinent based houses a 1 low dose house..
