Hot News

Yesterday we handed out an award to one of our residents which was awarded by our partners Green Pastures and the award was for The Pride of Green Pastures and now Mark is Green Pastures official Easter Pride of Green Pastures.

He was awarded this because of the hard work and progress he has made over the last twelve months. Mark had a relapse and we asked him to leave. We told him that if he did 28 clean days then he could reapply to come back in. He did this and actually we let him back in before his 28 days as we could see how his attitude had changed. Mark then, with help, went from strength to strength and he has now completed level 1,2 and 3 Health and Social care and the college now want him to start a degree course. He volunteers with Mulberry now and has led some of our groups for us and he sits in on assessments. His progress has been remarkable and he has been justly rewarded for this.

Mark is the only official Easter Pride of Green Pastures from the whole country.

You can help us by using the give as you live scheme whereby every time you shop you give a donation and
you can also use it to give "one off" donations as well. If you are a tax payer we can reclaim the tax as well.

 The Houses

Mulberry Community Project is an independant non-commissioned Supported Housing Project which provides abstinent based recovery housing for those in recovery from alcohol/drug misuse by providing secure housing, support and encouragement.  We believe that not only is recovery possible but with the correct support is also achievable by those who really want it. We are not about Treatment but we are about Recovery.

We currently have 7 male houses and 1 specialised female property.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE 2 FEMALE VACANCIES  AND 2 MALE VACANCIES ALTHOUGH WE HAVE LOTS OF REFERRALS AT THE MOMENT.
